Why GCSEHelp actually helps you revise

Less friction, more focus

Every time you sit down to work, you save a few minutes not hunting through bookmarks or typing in URLs. Over a whole term, that’s hours of extra focused revision.

Built around real websites

GCSEHelp doesn’t try to be yet another revision platform. It simply keeps the sites that already work for you in one clean, organised place.

Fits how you actually study

Combined with your own flashcards, past papers and notes, it becomes a central hub for all the tools you already know – just organised properly.

Active recall & spaced practice

Use GCSEHelp as the front door to your active recall (flashcards, quizzes, past paper questions) and visit regularly rather than cramming everything into one night.

No feed, no noise

There are no leaderboards, social features or distracting pop-ups. Just the websites you need, grouped by subject and easy to open in a couple of clicks.

A dashboard for the websites you already trust

GCSEHelp doesn’t replace the revision sites you like – it organises them. You might link exam-board pages, question banks, video playlists, flashcard apps or note documents. All of them become easy to open from one hub.

  • Open your favourite Maths practice site in two clicks.
  • Jump straight to English Literature notes for your set texts.
  • Keep specialist resources for option subjects tucked in their own tiles.

If your school uses managed logins or device codes, linking your device keeps everything safe and organised without changing how you revise.

What students say

“I literally use it like a home screen. Open browser, open GCSEHelp, choose a tile, done.” – Year 11

“It feels like an iPhone home screen for revision websites instead of just a list of links.” – Year 10

“Nice that it doesn’t try to gamify everything. It just lets me get to work faster.” – Sixth form

About GCSEHelp

GCSEHelp was created to solve a simple problem: students had the right resources, but they were scattered across tabs, bookmarks and random notes. By placing everything behind one calm, consistent home screen, it becomes easier to start revising and harder to get lost.

It’s deliberately minimal: no flashy animations, no confusing menus. Just a modern, iOS-style design that looks familiar and stays out of the way once you’re working.

Schools or admins can, if needed, restrict access or temporarily pause certain devices. That behaviour is handled safely in the background so students only see a simple “this isn’t available right now” message.

FAQ

Do I have to log in to use GCSEHelp?

No. You can still open publicly available resources without logging in. Logging in and linking your device is only needed where extra control is required.

Does GCSEHelp replace my revision sites?

No – it just organises them. You still use the same websites, past papers and tools that already help you.

Can teachers control what I see?

If your school or an admin is using device linking, they may control which extra links are visible when you log in. This keeps things safe and focused on actual revision.
